Agriculture

As Turkey’s largest private-sector farmer, we bring to life many innovative initiatives — from certified seeds to regenerative practices, from smart irrigation to digital solutions — guided by our philosophy of “Good People, Fertile Lands.”

Certified Seed

Certified seeds — the cornerstone of agricultural production — are one of the key elements in improving both productivity and sustainability.

As one of Turkey’s leading seed producers, Tiryaki Agro works meticulously to ensure farmers’ access to reliable, high-quality, and climate-resilient seeds.

Through our large-scale certified wheat seed production, we contribute to regional agricultural development in Turkey, strengthen productivity with our high-yield varieties, and support food security.
By focusing on innovation and R&D, we accelerate breeding processes to develop high-performing, climate-resilient seed varieties.

Our R&D Center in Tekirdağ and collaborations with universities have so far introduced 12 certified cool-climate grain varieties to Turkish agriculture.
We also maintain a gene pool of over 10,000 genetic materials, supporting breeding programs that will produce hundreds of new varieties in the coming years.

In addition, we carry out awareness initiatives to promote certified seed usage and implement training programs that introduce farmers to modern agricultural practices.
With certified seeds that enhance productivity, protect soil, and invest in the future, we continue to lead the way in sustainable agriculture.

Regenerative Agriculture

Regenerative agriculture is a sustainable approach that enhances long-term productivity by supporting the soil’s natural cycles. At Tiryaki Agro, we adopt this model at our farms in Muş and Omsk to improve soil health, reduce carbon emissions, and increase biodiversity.

At our Muş Alparslan Agricultural Enterprise, which spans 60,000 decares and serves as our regenerative agriculture hub in Türkiye, we increase the soil’s organic matter through the use of cover crops. In Omsk, we prevent yield loss by diversifying crop varieties.

All our agricultural decisions are made using smart farming technologies, including soil moisture sensors, satellite-based plant health monitoring systems, and digital farmer interaction platforms. This enables us to move away from a purely yield-focused production model toward one that allows the soil to rest and regenerate.

By developing data-driven practices through agricultural technologies and precise analysis, we offer sustainable and efficient production solutions that benefit both producers and nature.
Through regenerative agriculture, we give life back to the soil — transforming agricultural production into a vital tool in the fight against climate change.

Organic Farming

As Tiryaki Agro Group, operating across Turkey, Africa, South America, the U.S., and Canada, we view organic agriculture as one of the most meaningful investments in the future.

Since 2018, we have reinforced our global leadership in the sector by acquiring a majority stake in Sunrise Foods International, one of the world’s largest distributors of organic agricultural products.
In 2024, we strengthened our position in the North American market by acquiring Ozark Organics, a leading U.S. producer of organic feed.

With our extensive supply network spanning from Turkey to the Americas and Africa, we process and deliver organic grains, pulses, and oilseeds to global markets in line with the highest quality standards.
By transforming Giresun Port, which we acquired in 2018, into the world’s first port dedicated to organic food handling, we established a critical hub for the safe and sustainable logistics of organic products.

We continue to invest in the future of organic agriculture, guided by our deep sense of responsibility toward nature.
