Environmental Sustainability
We are developing our sustainability roadmap around four main focus areas: Environmental Sustainability, Bioeconomy, Efficiency Improvement, and Social Impact.
Environmental Sustainability
* Energy Efficiency
* Water Conservation
* Renewable Energy
* Emission Reduction
* Regenerative Agriculture
* Organic Farming
We view environmental sustainability as an integral part of every stage of our value chain and business processes. We prioritize energy efficiency, water conservation, the use of renewable energy, and the reduction of our carbon footprint throughout all our operations.
As one of Türkiye’s largest private-sector agricultural producers, we embrace nature-aligned production models through our regenerative and organic farming practices — aiming to preserve ecosystem balance and enhance biodiversity.
Regenerative Agriculture
Regenerative agriculture is an innovative approach that sustains agricultural production in harmony with nature, supporting soil health and ecosystems.
As Tiryaki Agro Group, within the scope of our sustainable agriculture transition plan initiated in Muş, Türkiye, and Omsk, Russia, we aim to expand regenerative agriculture practices.
At our Muş Alparslan Facility, alongside main crops such as wheat and sunflower, we plan to rotate cover crops consisting of legumes to enhance soil fertility, achieving 250 plants per hectare. These cover crops will protect the soil, increase biomass, and raise organic matter levels.
At the Omsk Farm, to address soil fatigue from continuous wheat cultivation, we plan to plant alternative crops on 50% of the area each year. This diversification will improve soil structure, prevent yield loss, and maintain long-term soil health.
In light of these initiatives, we aim to establish carbon-negative farms and facilities by 2026 and achieve full carbon negativity by 2040. At the Muş Farm, we will reduce our carbon footprint with a target of 1,000 kg CO₂e emission reduction per hectare per year, while at Omsk, minimal soil tillage and the use of organic fertilizers will help reduce our environmental impact.
By contributing to the soil’s natural cycles, we are committed to leading efforts to protect and improve agricultural ecosystems. In doing so, we will ensure our mission to leave healthy and sustainable agricultural lands for future generations.
We are a signatory of the UN Global Compact

As Tiryaki Agro Group, we are proud to be a signatory of the United Nations Global Compact (UNGC), the world’s largest corporate sustainability initiative, in line with our sustainability goals. As part of this global movement, we are committed to integrating its 10 universal principles into every aspect of our operations.
