Mersin Facility
Our facility, located on a 400-decare site in the Mersin-Tarsus Organized Industrial Zone, stands out not only as Turkey’s largest and most comprehensive processing plant but also as one of the country’s most advanced pulse processing centers.
By enabling the processing, packaging, and storage of a wide range of products under a single roof, we efficiently handle chickpeas, lentils, beans, kidney beans, and rice across six separate production units with an annual capacity of 450,000 tons. Thanks to our multi-line packaging systems established for our brand, products reach the shelves in controlled-atmosphere, anti-butterfly packaging, ensuring quality and freshness.
The facility also leads our renewable energy initiatives. A solar power plant spanning 225 decares meets a significant portion of the facility’s electricity demand and reduces our carbon footprint. Through water efficiency projects, we recover process water, saving thousands of cubic meters annually. Additionally, our waste management initiatives convert pulse husks into animal feed, supporting the circular economy.
Thanks to its strategic proximity to ports, our Mersin facility has become not only a production hub but also a strong export base, delivering products safely and on time to markets across the Middle East, Europe, Africa, and Asia.
