Shipping, Agency, and Port Management
At the heart of our global supply chain lie our maritime operations.
These activities, managed within Tiryaki since 2009, were restructured under Tiryaki Shipping in 2019 to further enhance efficiency and specialization.
Maritime Services
Ship Ownership
Our current fleet consists of four vessels (Ada, Mina, Beyza, and Sena), each with a carrying capacity of 8,330 tons.
We plan to expand the fleet to six vessels by 2026.
Our ships operate mainly in Turkish waters and the Persian Gulf, ensuring flexible and secure transportation within the region.
Chartering and Transport
Over 100 vessels are chartered annually, completing approximately 150 voyages per year.
While we manage all commercial operations in-house, technical and crewing services are carried out through trusted business partners.
Vessel Operations:
With experience in more than 40 ports, we monitor shipment management and port coordination 24/7.
Ship Agency
We provide integrated services for vessels calling at Turkish ports — including port and shipyard coordination, strait transits, protective agency, fuel and spare-part supply, and other essential operations.
Safety and Standards
At Tiryaki Agro, our maritime operations ensure comprehensive protection against cargo and environmental risks through our insurance-agency services. We operate in full compliance with international maritime regulations, prioritizing the use of low-sulfur fuels and fleet modernization to meet the highest environmental standards.

Port-Related Services
Giresunport (Türkiye):
Recognized as the world’s first organic port, Giresunport became an independent logistics hub in the Eastern Black Sea after launching a new line with MSC in 2023.
Our goal is to expand its current annual container capacity from 10,000 to 50,000 units, strengthening its position as a regional trade gateway.
Umm Qasr Terminal (Iraq):
Developed with the support of the International Finance Corporation (IFC), this terminal serves as a strategic center for food logistics in the country.
NOLA Terminal (USA):
Functioning as the main gateway for organic products in North America, NOLA Terminal plays a key role in our global logistics infrastructure.
